Audio: 911 call reveals details about the 8-foot alligator attack on Florida Kayaker

Babson Park, Fla. -A peaceful kayak excursion turned into a desperate struggle for survival when an alligator attacked a woman in a remote Florida channel.

A group of around 20 kayakers who had paddled back from the Tiger Lake from Lake Kissimmee State Park, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) joined against the shocking incident near the Polk-Oscola County line on Monday at around 1 p.m. on Monday.

Newly published 911 -Audio of Fox 13 in Tampa paints a living picture of the chaotic scene when the group had difficulty helping the woman while fighting fear and the continuing presence of the aggressive reptiles.

“She becomes in a shock,” said the non -identified caller after she was the considerable bite of the woman to her elbow. “She has real pain.”

Florida Man describes the head from the mouth of a 12-foot alligator as “nothing less than a miracle”.

The 911 caller said that the alligator snapped a lifeline from another kayak driver and stayed nearby.

The urgency of the caller then escalated when he described the woman's agony when they tried to combine them under their screaming of pain.

“She has too much pain to raise the association … You can't open your arm,” said the caller. “Weak pulse and the pulse go down … You do everything you can.”

Her need included the challenging terrain – a remote, swampy area without a boat ramp – which you effectively catch in your kayaks and hinder the quick evacuation of the injured woman.

“If there was a ramp, we would be golden, but we are in the swampy area and it is half in the boat and they mainly got it out of the water,” said the 911 caller.

Over time, the 911 operator led the caller through the technical process to share its exact location via a PIN drop, a decisive step in the direction of rescue workers to the scene.

After a tense 45 minutes on the line with 911, a helicopter arrived and discovered the group in the air thanks to the paddle. The helicopter crew then climbed into an airboat to reach the stranded kayakers.

The FWC said that a disturbing Alligator Trapper arrived on site shortly afterwards and removed the 8-foot 4-inch alligator.

The injured woman was flown to a nearby hospital where her condition is currently unknown.
