The regulation of Virginia enables the state police to help with the arrest of crime illegal foreigners

Richmond, va. – Governor Glenn Youngkin signed the Executive Order 47 on Thursday and directed Virginia State Police and the Department of Corrections to support the efforts to enforce immigration through ยง 287 (g) agreements with the US immigration and customs authority (ICE).

The arrangement authorizes the law enforcement authorities of state law enforcement authorities, which are standardized according to the federal immigration laws, and calls on the local and regional prison authorities to certify their full cooperation with ICE.

The move directed Virginia with the efforts of the federal government to illegally capture and deport individuals in the country who have committed violent crimes.

“As a governor, the protection of our citizens is my most important responsibility, and today we take measures that Virginia make safer by removing dangerous illegal immigrants from our Commonwealth,” said Youngkin.

As part of the guideline, the state police in Virginia will form a state deputy task force to identify and record people who pose a risk of public security. The Virginia Ministry of Justice will also conclude a separate agreement on the training of correction officers as proven immigration officers.

The arrangement follows the existing federal immigration policy as part of the illegal law on illegal immigration reform and an immigrant responsibility of 1996, which enables state and local authorities to work together with ice.
