Change at QB is only the beginning for a jets team in the transition

Quarterback will dominate the conversation outside of the season because this is always the case and because they have a question mark in the position after letting Aaron Rodgers run.

We will discuss and analyze the options at the position until the jets reveal their plan. But quarterback is not the only hole on this squad. This is a team in the transition.

The jets have 23 players who will be unrestricted free agents next week, and they have already cut a free recipient Davante Adams, who is now a free agent. Of these 24 players, 12 of them were either a starter or important contributors in 2024.

The new general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn will try to put their stamp on the team. It is typical when new bosses are responsible so that there is a large amount of duty schedule. That is the expectation in this low season.
