Veteran Pine Belt Football coach who continues

Pine Belt, Miss. (WDAM) – The veteran of the high school football coaching Larry Dolan changes to Greene -R Weiden.

Like in the Greene County High School.

On Thursday evening, Dolan confirmed to Scott Kirk, sports director of WDAM 7, that he left the house that he won for the first time in Forrest County Agricultural High School to take over the wildcats football program.

Dolan was in Brooklyn during his second stay as a head football coach and has served the aggies in this capacity in the past three years.

He started his high school career on the Brooklyn campus in the early nineties and finally took over in 2000 at FCAH's football Sideline. Thirteen years later, Dolan led the Aggies to a class 4a State Championship.

He spent a season with FCAH before he went.

He spent two years at the Columbia Academy and then two years at the Pearl River Central High School.

He spent a year as a defensive coordinator for Drew Causeny's staff at the Oak Grove High School in 2018 before taking over the D'Iberville High School for the next three seasons.

Dolan scored 6-5 marks in each of his three seasons in each of his three seasons. The Aggies made the playoffs every year and lost in an opening round before they lost in successive seasons in the second round of the playoffs.

Greene County went 8-2 in 2024 and saw a seven games of winning streak in the opening round of class 4a playoffs.
