HPV myths exposed, smartwatch gives illness

Anchorage, Alaska (Ktuu) – Your smartwatch may know that you are sick in front of you. A new study by the University of Aalto showed that smartwatches can predict with an accuracy of 88% by monitoring breathing, heart rate and skin temperature if you want to get the flu with covid and 90% accuracy.

While this technology could help recognize diseases at an early stage, the spread is still based on the fact that people are isolating themselves and taking precautions.

Doctors work to correct misunderstandings about the human papillomavirus (HPV) and the connection with cancer. A study by Ohio State University showed that most people do not recognize that HPV is more common in men than in women and is not only associated with cervical cancer, but also with several types of cancer that affect men. Another important gap in consciousness? The HPV vaccine reduces the risk of infection by 90%and makes it a powerful instrument for cancer prevention.

Rising temperatures could severely affect global food supply. Another study by Aalto University warns that up to a third of global food production is at risk, especially in regions with a low height. Patic foods such as rice, wheat, potatoes and soybeans are particularly susceptible. If climate change accelerates, nutritional security could become an important global crisis.
