Winston-Salem, NC-Savonne Gist guilty after a shootout in Winston-Salem in 2021 due to murder's second degree.

Gist was originally charged as a teenager, but the case was later transferred to law enforcement before Aduld Court.

On September 14, 2021, the Winston-Salem police responded to Ferrell CT. In the apartment complex Rolling Hills after receiving a report via a shootout. Officers found Charles Edward Anderson Jr. in the apartment with a gunshot wound.
