Iwgp World Heavyweight Title Match Set for the NJPW New Japan Cup Show

Hirooki Goto later put his IWGP World Heavyweight title against Yuji Nagata on NJPWS New Japan Cup tour on the New Japan Cup tour. NJPW announced on Thursday that Nagata will have a title against Goto at the event on March 15 on the tour.

Title Match added to Nagoya Card

A massive championship game was added to the New Japan Cup Card on March 15 in the Dolphins Arena, Nagoya.

After Hirooki Goto captured the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on February 11th in Osaka, he nominated Hiroshi Taahashi to face him on the 53rd anniversary. Immediately after this nomination, Yuji Nagata turned to offer the new champion his own challenge. Nagata, inspired by Veteran Goto's fame, asked for his own shot and his first on the top title in professional wrestling for 14 years.

This match occurred in December 2011 and in Dolphins Arena, a game in which Hiroshi Taahashi Nagatas previously met with the IWGP heavyweight title with the V10 title defense record. Nagata's historical rule between 2002 and 2003 brought him the nickname of 'Mr. Iwgp '; Now he seems to be a three -time champion and exceeded 56 years old, overstalls Genichiro Tenryu with 53 as the oldest IWGP champion in history.
