Photofest! State 1a basketball tournament day #1

The quarterfinals of State 1a basketball tournament in Casper is in the books, and on the girls' side there was only one game in which the team defeated the team with a higher seam. Riverside ripped up Upton 55-39 thanks to 23 points from Brooklyn Paxton. Bella Keller led Upton at 22.

In the 2nd game of the day in the Ford Center, Cokeville crushed the Lusk 65-26 with Addison Barnes 27 for the Panthers. Lusk got 8 points from Emily Zumbrunnen. Burlington went into the semi-finals with a 61-46 victory over Lingle-Fort Laramy. The huskies were run by Paxton Philpott with 20 and LFL from Skyla miracles. In the game of the last girl of the day, the 1A State Champion Southeast Forson-Eden defended 33-22. The cyclones received 11 points from Brylie Booth and the Pronghorns received 7 points from Sophia Goicolea.

On Friday at Casper College, Riverside and Cokeville will play in a semi -finals at 4 p.m., while Burlington competes towards the southeast at 5:30 a.m.

On the side of the boys, all teams with higher mammals switched to half-degree, starting with Little Snake River, the 60-51 southeast against the southeast from 60 to 51, the Rattlers with 25 and the cyclones 15 points from Beaux Shimic. Lingle-Fort Laramie remained unbeaten this season with a 55-36 decision about the camp. The LFL was led by Ned Nelson with 15 and Gunner Henrie with 8.

The defending champion of 1a State Champion Upton drove from Burlington 69-32, when the Bobcats had 4 boys in double-digit figures, led by Jackson Evans at 17th Burlington received 9 from Weston Gotfredson. In the last game of the evening, the Lusk rally Cokeville 53-39 defeated. The Tigers received 19 points from Ridge Kupke and the Panthers were passed on by Justin Moyes at 13.
