Ice San Francisco, Federal Partners Run Transnational Criminal Organizations

In coordination with the federal law enforcement partners, the US immigration and customs authority carried out a multi-agency surgery on transnational criminal organizations, violent criminals, sex offenders and repeated immigration amplifiers. The operation carried out from March 4th to 6th led to the concern of 44 people who were involved in illegal activities in six counties in the Central Valley.

Among the arrested members of violent international gangs, which were known for their participation in drug trafficking, human smuggling and violent crimes. In addition, ICE took custody for convicted sex offenders who had illegally joined the United States, as well as people who were confronted with criminal charges for immigration and other violations of federal offers.

“Operations such as this underline our commitment to the disorder of criminal networks that endanger public security,” said ICE Homeland Security Investigations San Francisco, the responsible Tatum King. “By using partnerships between the federal government and the intelligent investigation, we continue to reduce transnational criminal organizations and remove dangerous offenders from our communities.”

ICE led the company in cooperation with the service FBI, DEA, ATF and US Marshals. The US law firm Eastern District of California offers the public prosecutor for the operation. Local and state law enforcement agencies were not involved in the operation of the California Senate 54 due to the law on the Senate California, which restricts cooperation between local authorities and the federal immigration authorities.

The arrested persons are currently being processed due to public prosecutor and distance procedures. ICE is still obliged to work with its federal partners to combat organized crimes and to protect the communities from violent criminal activities.
