French ministry for interior bans Asse fans from Montpellier Match

The French Ministry of the Interior, as a supporter of Saint-Étienne (Asse) for the Ligue-1 meeting this weekend after Montpellier Héault SC, banned Héault SC, because of a high risk of violence between the two clubs threatened with violence.

Montpellier sits with only 15 points from 25 games in the French upper edge of the edge, while Asse are only one point and five points in the 17th higher point.

The authorities argue that Saint-Etienne's trips are often impaired by “disorders of public order due to the violent behavior of certain supporters or people who claim to be supporters of this team”, and found that some Montpellier fans are also susceptible to violence.

The Ministry of the Interior claims that there is a “real and serious risk of a confrontation” between competing fans and quotes a collision between supporters in a meeting in November 2024 in Saint-Étienne.

A large-scale fight took place, in which 260 Montpellier fans, some of whom were equipped with weapons, collided with 300 to 400 home supporters on the streets.
