The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion -Remake is said to be unveiled soon and not published long afterwards

Bethesda will announce the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion -Remake in the coming weeks and will release it soon afterwards.

Natethhate, which revealed the announcement date of the Nintendo Switch 2, tweeted exactly to say that the Oblivion remake will be unveiled this month or next month, which has confirmed VGC.

The publication window is slightly fuzzy. Natethhat probably said before June, but VGC said it could get out so quickly in April.

In January, Mp1st Reports about apparently accidentally published Oblivion -Remake details of a former employee at video game Support Studio virtuoso. Microsoft refused to comment when you contact IGN.

According to MP1ST, Bethesdas has made a popular role -playing game with unreal engine 5, which indicates a significant revision than a simpler remaster. The changes to the gameplay were also said to be detailed, including changes to endurance, creeping, blocking, archery, hit reaction and heads-up display (HUD).

As reported by MP1ST, the blocking was changed by action games and soulslikes, since the original system was too “boring” and “frustrating”. Sneak symbols are now supposedly highlighted, whereby the damage calculation is redesigned. The knockdown, which is generated by perseverance, is reportedly more difficult to solve. And the Hud was redesigned to make understanding easier. Elsewhere, hit reactions were added to make the reaction clearer, and archery was reportedly modernized in both the first and the third person.

The word of an Oblivion -Remaster was created in 2023 As documents as part of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) against Microsoft test version by buying Activision Blizzard, a number of unannounced Bethesda games resulted in the coming years. The list, which was compiled in July 2020 before the Bethesda Muttergesellschaft Zenimax Media, contained the following:

Fiscal year 2022:

  • Oblivion Remaster
  • Indiana Jones game

Fiscal year 2023

  • Doom Year Null and DLC
  • Project Kestrel
  • Project platinum

Fiscal year 2024

  • The Elder Scrolls 6
  • Project Kestrel: Expansion
  • Licensed IP game
  • Fallout 3 Remaster
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo continued
  • Disembled 3
  • Doom Year Zero DLC

Obviously, some of these games were either delayed or completely canceled. Doom Year Zero is now Doom: The Dark Ages and Set for the start in May. Indiana Jones and The Great Circle only started in December 2024. The Elder Scrolls 6 did not come near the 2024 financial year.

However, this Oblivion -Remaster is what we are now worried about. And it is worth noting that it was called A Remaster In the Microsoft document. Perhaps the scope of the project has changed and Bethesda has a remake. We will find out when the company finally reveals what has become one of the worst secrets in all video games.

On which platforms does the Oblivion Remake start now? Microsoft is now with multiplatform publicationsand with The Nintendo Switch 2 is waiting in the wingsOblivion can open its goals for more than just PC, Xbox and PlayStation player. When the Switch 2 comes out in June, the start window of the console may be forgotten.
