Grass fire burns along the I-30 in Dallas

A grass fire broke out on Tuesday morning along the south side of the Interstate 30, west of Loop 12 Walton Walker and north of the Jefferson Davis exchange.

What we know:

The firefighters arrived at around 6:30 a.m. and worked on the flames to get as close as possible. The fire reached heights of 10 to 15 feet before the crews deleted it with water. While the flames come out, white smoke stays at the scene.

The drivers in the region should be aware of possible traffic waste if the first aiders continue to work.
