The Warren police to release a body cam video from fatal shootings

The police are expected to release body camera film material on Thursday and at the same time offer an update for a shootout involved by officer, in which a man was killed at the beginning of this week.

The police said the 41 -year -old Kenny Beno was armed with a knife when he was shot by officials who responded to a call to a call on Monday evening.

The officers were called in the 27,000 block of the Railroad Street at 10:15 p.m. after a woman who was later identified as Lana Price had called 911 because Beno threatened her while he was armed with a knife. He left the house before the police arrived.

“He only decided to be a big tyrant and overwhelm me and block me in my house,” said Price.

According to the police, they saw Beno racing with the gun. After he refused to drop the knife, he was dotted. When the Taser did not work, Beno was shot.

Beno was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Price said Fox 2 that she had been agreed with Beno and from the ratio in the past three years. She let him move in after he was released from prison at the end of last year after a conviction of domestic violence.

“I was the victim in this case. I didn't understand. I just thought I would be a nice, helping woman,” she said.

Price defended the police's actions.

“They had to do that to protect them,” said Price, adding that she believed that Beno had hurt officers if they hadn't shot him.
