Cedric Alexander's first post -Wwe -match was confirmed

It wasn't long of Cedric Alexander to book another appearance.

Although the former WWE cruiserweight champion is still under his 90-non competition clause, a new booking has just been confirmed when United Pro Wrestling was announced that the former WWE star for her “Ready or Not!” Show in New Bern, North Carolina, on May 10th. The current TNA star Savannah Evans is also advertised for the show.

He even sends a little message after the campaign announced his arrival.

The former WWE star was released from his contract after being in the company for over eight years. The publication was not particularly shocking because it was clear that WWE did not see much in the 35-year-old because he was mainly used as an improvement talent. The strange thing is that Alexander signed a lucrative contract with the campaign in September 2024.

However, Alexander has achieved a lot in his eight years in WWE. In addition to the Cruiserweight Championship, Alexander won the WWE dayTeam title during the Hurt Business Time, and he is even a former 24/7 champion.

He came to society through the incredible Cruiserweight Classic tournament in which he had a strong performance against Kota Ibushi, and the fans asked WWE to hire Cedric Alexander. Although the revival of the Cruiserweight division turned out to be bust, boys like him, Musata Ali and Buddy Matthews, worked out with the asses to do 205 live work.

Alexander is a remarkable name, so he shouldn't have any problems working on the indie scene. The big question, however, is: Will Cedric go to one of the large companies? MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are in AEW, so that it appears like a strong goal for Alexander. However, he would do well in TNAS X-Division and in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, so Alexander has many options if AEW does not come into play.

Cedric has been relatively quiet since his release. His short message after his publication by WWE confirms that he is ready to get out in the independent scene. It is clear that it will not take long for us to see Alexander again in action!
