The activity is a creative exercise for painting and print graphics. The class runs from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to all age groups.

Amy Comber Gross Amy Comber Great explained that the library developed the idea after he had received a large donation of air cushion film and had viewed pictures of bladder packaging art online.

“We thought it was a unique and playful way to use it,” said Comber Gross. “We have seen some amazing art online that was made with air cushion film.”

When the library employees developed an issue for the class, they decided to go with rainbow due to the proximity of St. Patrick's Day.

The library staff is also preparing for a large event at the end of the month: the Stuffie Hospital Sleepover.

This will be the third or fourth time that the library has carried out a soft toy overnight accommodation, said Comber Gross.

Children can bring their stuffed animals to the library and each receive an “examination” of a local veterinary technology. Veterinary technology will give you a diagnosis and the stuffed animals will be kept in the library for “medical adherence” overnight while the children go home. Every soft toy receives a hospital joint band with its name and important information.

“We had a lot of fun with this type of event in the past,” said Comber Gross. “When we thought about ideas (for this time), we thought: 'What did we not do?' And we have a library matron that worked in a veterinary clinic, so we thought we could come in and diagnose the stuffies with splinters, bruises and such things. “

“(Soft toy) are a lot of fun,” said Comber Gross. “From the programs we do, I think the employees enjoy them the most.”

While some children are worried about leaving their stuffed animal overnight, Comber Gross gross that they are well looked after. The library even leaves you a light at night.

Soft toys can be discontinued on March 28 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. At that time there will be a story time and veterinary technology will be there to check the animals.

Soft toys can be picked up on Saturday at any time.

Both the rainbow activity and the soft toy are free and open to everyone.
