The Danville public library publishes the latest schedule for events

PSAS – upcoming events in the Danville Public Library – March 23 – March 29, 2025

Diversify your reading challenge: In a reading track? Expand your reading horizons by completing one or all of our challenges! End a challenge to get an individual poster! This challenge applies to young people and adults aged 13. August 1, 2024 – August 1, 2025

Oscar Buzz Reading Challenge: Take part in our Bentack Challenge with nine books whose film adaptations are nominated for Oscars! Intended for adults (19+).
Visit the challenge! February 1, 2025 – March 31, 2025.

Rubber -ducky reader: Make up this funny Beaderstack challenge! The child will receive a rubber duck for 10 books each, all 100 books correspond to a book, a sticker and a certificate, 1000 books that correspond to a good bag with a book, a sticker, a completion certificate, a stuffed animal, a blow-up rubberent, etc. This challenge is at the age of 0 to 6 years.

March 25: Tween IT! Tuesdays. Entertaining programs for tweens every Tuesday. This week: Done! Inspired by the Netflix TV series, tweens is presented a craft and delivery, but no instructions! 4:30 p.m. in the program room. Age 8-12 years.

March 25: Universal Yums. Once a month, young people have the opportunity to try snacks from another country! Every month you can try out snacks from different countries, play trivia and listen to music to this country. The box of this month contains articles of United Kingdom. 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the teenager zone. Age 13-19.

March 25: Wee Wiggers Story Time. Visit the days at 10:00 a.m. in the program room for action rhymes, stories and songs for children from 5 years.

March 26: Rainbow Playgroup. Socialization, play and steam activities for toddlers. 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the program room.

March 26: Teen Writing Club. Visit us every Wednesday for teen writing club! Magazines and pens are provided for our young writers and writing requests. 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the YA region.

March 26: Wednesdays on Wednesdays. Puzzle lovers, mark your calendars! Go to the reference switch every Wednesday on the 2nd floor for a variety of words. Available at any time during our regular business hours.

March 27: Everything that is technical for teenagers. Introduction to young people into some of the library's cool technologies, including 3D printing, 3D pencils, sphero balls, cricut and a flight simulator. Thursdays at 3 p.m. in the teenage zone.

March 29: Sensory and bilingual stories adventure. A unique programming experience that combines bilingual storytelling with sensor -friendly activities to engage children of all skills. This inclusive program creates an inviting space in which stories are brought to life to life by interactive elements that promote language development and sensory research in an entertaining and supportive environment. Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. in the children's department.

Adult craft: Look at the reference switch on the 2nd Floor for flower crowns! While the deliveries last.

Mal competition for all ages: Dye a picture and win a prize. Return entries by the end of the month. Entries are displayed in the children's room. The winners will be notified. Old preschool for adults. Take off coloring pages in the library or visit
