Fire brigade from Zentral -Bilinois receives a piece of the state firefighter scholarship

Illinois (25News Now) – Numerous fire brigades in central -illinois receive money to help buy small fire fighting and ambulance equipment.

Around the state, 4 million US dollars went to 178 fire brigades/districts and EMS providers.

The Illinois State Fire Marshal office said that the program enables applicants to buy small devices that they may not be able to buy.

The state firefighter received 347 applications and claimed around 7.7 million dollars.
