School record fourteen called NWCA scholar all-Americans

Waverly, Iowa-a school record of 14 members of the Wartburg wrestling team has been appointed NWCA scholarly all-American, the national organization said today.

These student athletes showed excellent performance on both the mat and in the classroom and met one of the following academic and sporting criteria:

• A top -eight placer at Nationals and at least one cumulative GPA of 3.0
• At least 15 games that are recorded in the trackwrestling and have at least 3.5 cumulative GPA
• Was a national qualification game and has at least 3.25 cumulative GPA
