Man who was convicted of a fatal shootout of the 2-year-old daughter to be convicted

The case goes back to February 9, 2022 when Seninta Parks shot his 2-year-old daughter Khalise Brewer.

Wyoming, me.-A man who was convicted of his 2-year-old daughter's death is convicted on Thursday.

Seninta Parks was charged with murder, several firearms and habitual crimes – third crimes in the death of Khalise Brewer.

On January 29, he did a plea contract without a competition before his case was in court and advocated a second -degree murder, a criminal in possession of a firearm and a firearm.

The case goes back to February 9, 2022, when Parks Brewer shot in her house in Wyoming in the 2400 Block of Meyer Avenue SW.

The police said Parks shot themselves after killing Khalise, but survived his injuries.

Bodycam video of the first answering officer was played in court and showed that civil servants went into the room in which Khalise was killed and the weapon took away from parks.

Life -saving measures on Khalise were tried, but were unsuccessful.

Witnesses who lived below the apartment said they had heard shots and found a released projectile that came through the ceiling.

When the shootout took place, Wyoming Public Safety Chef Kimberly Koster described the case as one of the most tragic examples of weapons that she had ever seen in her career.

For several months in 2023, Parks were not competent to provide court hearing. In May 2023, he was mentally competent as legal proceedings.

The police said they believe that the shootout was not an accident. They said Parks had a history of violent crimes and was on probation, which means that he was unable to legally own a firearm.
