Investigation in the course of the person in the house fire in New Hampshire – Boston 25 News

Rumney, NH – an examination is underway after a person died in New Hampshire early Thursday morning, said state and local officials.

On Thursday at 2:25 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire hunting in a family home in Main Street in Rumney, said the state fire brigade marshal Sean Toomey in a joint explanation with Rumney Fire Chief Evan Hacker and Rumney police chief Gregory Patten.

When the first crews arrived, firefighters saw widespread flames and tried to search the house, but were pushed back by deteriorating conditions, said Toomey.

Firefighters brought the fire hours later at 5:09 a.m., said toomey. No firefighters were injured.

A non -identified person was found dead in the house. An autopsy should check the identity of the person and confirm the cause and type of death, said Toomey.

Toomey's office and the fire brigade of Rumney examine the origin and cause of the fire.

Several municipalities reacted to mutual help, including Wentworth, Plymouth, Campton-Thornton, Ashland, New Hampton, Hebron, Canana, Haverhill, Holderness, Waterville Valley, Center Harbor, Bridgewater and Bristol.

Members of the Rumney Police Department and Warren-Wentworth Ambulance also reacted to the scene to help.
