10 startups that you can watch from the W25 demo day of the Y Combinator

Silicon Valley, Y Combinator, the most buying startup accelerator, organized its demo day of the winter of 2025 on Wednesday and presents its latest batch of 160 startups.

Some of the most successful startups of the Silicon Valley – including Stripe, Airbnb and Reddit – started in a YC stack.

It is not surprising that many of the startups in this batch are geared to build the next big thing in AI: AI agents. Instead of building their own AI agents, there is a surprising number of tools to support agent support that improve the agents of other companies.

In addition to our selection for the 10 most interesting startups, which are listed below, we had some honorary mention that did not quite show this list. One was Optifytee, a startup that created software for the management of factory workers, which was involved in social controversy a few weeks ago. Another are artificial companies in which AI simulations are carried out to test how well your LinkedIn contributions perform in a simulated version of your network.

YC always accepted some striking companies. Here are the startups that impressed us the most.

What it does: API for the telephoto operation of the agents

Why it is a favorite: One of the most important reasons why Waymo was successful in using autonomous robotaxis is that people can take over a vehicle from a distance if you ever get stuck. Filling took up this idea, telephoto surgery and built up a platform that used it on all AI agents. Filling says that his API makes it possible if an AI agent fails to enable and adopt one of his human operators.

What it does: Let us navigate ai agent browser

Why it is a favorite: Coincidentally, the use of browser at the beginning of this week became viral because a Chinese KI agent, Manus, his Open -Source version of his tool used to click through Site menu and fill out forms on browsers. Daily downloads were placed at 28,000, one of the founders told Techcrunch. Since the browser -ai agent such as the Openai operator starts, the use of browser seems to offer a convincing tool that enables it.

What it does: Replaces tedious evaluation work by AI

Why it is a favorite: Teaching assistants (TAS) are the backbone of a modern university who evaluate quiet papers for professors and do other grunting work. However, the classification of stacks of repeating papers may not be the best use of the time of a TA if they could teach the students directly. Gradewiz was founded by Cornell Tas, who openly explains that they hate “hate evaluation” and uses Ai tools to automate the task so that TAS can better use their time.

What it does: Robinhood for Pokemon cards

What it is a favorite: Missprint has a cool history of origin: The co-founder Eva Herget has ended her job at Goldman Sachs to sell Pokemon cards all day and sell $ 40,000 a month. Now Herget and her co-founder have launched a platform for the sale of maps and other collector's pieces, with which users can use a BID/ASK system more like shares. It is not a small market: Pokemon cards of 3.5 billion US dollars are sold every year, says Mistrint.

What it does: Use AI to find the best vibe coders

Why it is a favorite: AI supported “vibe coding” is all the anger, and a YC partner recently says that a quarter of the YC startups contains code bases that are 95% generated. But AI supported coding not only lets work do the work for her. It is a ability to in itself. According to the Nextbyte, it helps companies to find the best “vibe coders” thanks to a AI model that tests interview questions in order to test the skills of the coders when using AI.

What it does: AI clone for zoo

Why it is a favorite: Who has not got into a working meeting with a bad case of bed hair or hardly designed pajama pants? Pickle solves this by letting yourself clone an ideal version yourself and put it much better composed on the screen that synchronizes lip synchronization in real time. As a (mostly) remote team, we really hope that Pickle – says that there are previously over 1,500 paying users, can move out.

What it does: AI agents for automation of restaurant management

Why it is a favorite: Running a restaurant is often a typical Tom-and-pop operation. The restaurant inventory is often managed in Google Sheets and includes many calls and e -mails with suppliers. Rebolt tries to automate some of these work with AI agents, and the company says that it is a prices' talks with the parent company of Burger King.

What it does: A room for weeds on a farm

Why it is a favorite: Farming weeds, but removing this weed is a difficult task that requires a lot of human work. Red Barn Robotics was founded by a former Apple hardware leadership and claims that the now robot, which he calls “field hand”, is faster than a person and a quarter of the price. The founders say that the company has already signed 5 million US dollars in Lois for the upcoming vegetation period.

What it does: A vintage market curated by the AI

Why it is a favorite: If you have ever bought online after vintage clothing, you know that this can be an overwhelming experience. There are many options and it is difficult to evaluate the quality. Retrofit uses AI to sort thousands of vintage listings and creates a marketplace based on current trends. The website also looks great.

What it does: Autonomous patrol boats

Why it is a favorite: Autonomy is currently hot in defense technology, from Shield Ais 'Ai Fighter Pilot' to Saronics planned autonomous warship factory. Splash builds small patrol boats that patrol autonomously. The startup says that it has already been autonomously crossed 200 miles in the San Francisco Bay Area and claims an impressive range of 800 miles.
