Mailbag: Does anyone want to start an Grandpa brigade?

A big praise to Grandma Brigade because they protested in front of the Costa Mesa Tesla showroom (“Grandma Brigade organizes his first protest in Costa Mesa to stop taking over the musk”, March 7).

I am sure that the raging grandma spokane, wash.; Eugene, Ore.; Madison, Wis. And other communities welcome their efforts. What raises the question: Where is the Grandpa Brigade? Since I am and am a grandfather for the third time, I can certainly say that I can easily qualify as a charter member. Who is with me?

Is the Maga library book collection next?

How often does that have to be repeated? There are no pornographic or obscene books in the Children's Department for Children's Library of Huntington Beach Library. It is illegal that book publishers sell such books for children.

Puberty books, books on human body and sex education books are not pornography, no matter how often the city council of Huntington Beach tries to convince people otherwise. City Councilor Chad Williams claims that the ACLU is parents of their right to decide what is appropriate for their children, but that is exactly what our advice does.

You want a 21-member committee of your choice to have the ultimate say in what books can be ordered for the library and what is not. You want to restrict access to library books that are felt questionable for everyone under the age of 18. Censorship is censorship. The city council does not let the parents decide themselves. You choose you.

Although they had the option, they decided to accept one of the two library applications, one that eliminates the review committee and the others to allow the vote before the library management can be outsourced. They claim that they have no plans to find the library's outsourcing. If that is true, why didn't you accept the petition? Instead of waiting until the next parliamentary elections, our advice has the most expensive option to fight them. Our city will hold a special election on June 10 at the expense of at least 1 million US dollar.

It is known that our city has a low turnout for special elections. If the residents love their library and freedom to read freely, they have to vote for the library petitions. This is only the start of depending on the rights of the residents. If our advice continues its censorship of the library materials and has freedom to outsource the library management without permission to a private company, what will come next? The residents have to get out and coordinate. If you are upgraded by a Maga library board, wait until you have a Maga collection of only library bookings.

Claims of the city council of the city council on voter fraud nonsense

Huntington Beach's city council claims that the vote is not safe. I say that such claims are unfounded and problematic, and here is the reason: On January 1, the Grand Jury published its report: “Is the integrity of the coordination in Orange County alive and good?” On page 19 it says: “The analysis of the Grand Jury confirmed that the election 2024 maintained the highest level of integrity for OC voters.”

The panel listed its results:

• “There were no evidence of fraud or election disorders that were found in the general 2024 elections in Orange County.
• The coordination in Orange County is fair, safe and transparent.
• The ROV communication and outreach programs promote transparency and public trust in the voting process. Orange County's legitimate voters can feel safe if you know that the ROV is a choice of the highest recognized standards. “

Despite this findings, the city council continues to receive non -supported allegations. Show us the data! If there is any, who published it? How many cases of voter fraud were reported to the OC public prosecutor's office?

On May 15, 2024 I heard Dist. Atty. This problem deals with this problem in the OC Registrar's office. He said that many claim that voter fraud had taken place, but they do not provide any evidence of this.

Obviously, this advice talks nonsense about voter fraud! Now do you want to redirect tax money to carry out city elections?
