The Springfield College Athletics has a record day

Springfield, mass. – March 13, 2025 – The Springfield College Department of Athletics exceeded $ 300,000 on a record day of gifts on a record day of support on the tenth anniversary of Giving Day and The Maroon vs. White Challenge on Thursday, March 6th.

The Springfield College Athletics Community came together and saw 1,238 donors with impressive participation in alumni, parents and friends of every team. A total of 17 programs achieved their donor goals and 20 programs 20 or more donors.

“We couldn't be grateful for the incredible support of our alumni, family and friends,” said athletics director Craig Poisson. “Your record -breaking donations will be directly involved in the improvement of the athlete experience, and we are pleased that our programs continue to thrive.”

The Maroon vs. White Challenge reached their goal again when only nine donors separated the two teams, with the Maroon team in front and won this year. Team Maroon and 677 donors gave a total of 686 donors to Team White.
