OpenSignal Finds Rogers has the fastest broadband download

OpenSignal has published its latest report on fixed Breitbander experiences, which offers a deeper understanding of how people use their broadband connections.

Open signal collected data from October 1 to December 29, 2024 with the detailing of broadband internet speeds in several regions across Canada.

The most important findings include Rogers with the fastest average download speeds at the national level with a score of 198.1 Mbit / s, almost 40 Mbit / s in front of Bell. Bell, on the other hand, offers the highest upload speed with a score of 109.9 Mbit / s.

Bell and Rogers are bound for a total video experience at the national level with scores of 76.7-76.8 out of 100 and land in the “very good” level. Rogers also maintains the highest scores in terms of consistent quality and reliability experience.

Regional band Rogers in 20 of the 28 regional awards first. Conversely, Bell has the fastest average upload speeds in Atlantic Provinces, Ontario and Quebec, which immerse themselves in Quebec at 121 Mbit / s. In addition, Eastlink has developed well for consistent quality and won alongside Bell in the eastern provinces.

The open signal report also contains more details and shows that Starlink has the lowest quality, the lowest download speeds, the lowest upload speeds, the worst reliability experience and the worst video experience at national level.
