Deadly shooting in North St. Louis County leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

The police said the shootings came from a dispute in a nearby company about “parenthood or lack of it”.

St. Louis County, Mon. – Two men were charged with a shootout on Thursday, in which a man left dead at the beginning of this month.

The police authority of St. Louis County announced that the prosecutors, the Kelvin Allen (39) and Orlando Taylor, 37, accused the first degree murder, first degree attack, illegal application of a weapon, the illegal possession of a firearm and three cases of armed measures.

The police were made aware of the shootout on March 2 after two of the victims drove to the Barnes-Jewish hospital with gunshot wounds.

The driver was seriously injured, and the passenger, the 34-year-old Garry Smith, died of his injuries.

Monitoring video showed that the victims on the West Florissant Avenue drove near the Dunn Road when the residents of a gray Genesis G70 drove next to them and fired several shots from a rifle into the car.

Additional statements and testimonies showed that the shootout arose from an argument in a nearby company about “parenthood or a lack”.

The surviving victim and a witness identified all and Taylor as a suspect. The police said everyone fired a shot in the business where the incident began and the origin drove when Taylor shot against the victims in the Dunn Road.

The car used by the shootout was rented by everyone.

The police originally said that three victims were injured in the shootout. In the update on Thursday, they did not give any details about the third victim.

All and Taylor were both held on a bond of 500,000 US dollars.
