Cleveland Man, who started in the city center during the crowded weekend, sentenced to more than 4 years in prison

Cleveland, Ohio (Woio)-a 36-year-old man from Cleveland was convicted of more than four years in prison after being started with the shot at an overcrowded intersection in the city center.

On Thursday, 19 investigations received a video of the police body camera from his arrest.

In August, the police from Cleveland chased an armed suspect through a park near East 12th and Chester Avenue.

“Hey, we are on the Play House Square in the garage and there were shots,” said a 911 caller from the police.

An off-duty officer worked on safety at Playhouse Square when he heard 7 shots and asked his employees to call the police. Then he saw the 36-year-old Wallace Weems fired five more shots in the air.

The incident occurred in August when tens of thousands of people in Cleveland were for the WWE Smackdown and the Guardians game.

The bulls found Weems on Perk Plaza on a park bench, but as soon as he saw the bulls, he took his bag and ran towards Walnut Avenue.

“Show your hands!” Officers ordered Weems when they followed him.

The police said when Weems ran away, he kept reaching the front of his waist. Then he fell and dropped a loaded semi -automatic pistol and his backpack.

He was arrested by two officers

In December he was sentenced to more than four years in prison.

19 Investigations discovered that this was not Weems' first inlet with the law. His first conviction was in 2006 for the sale of drugs. He was arrested and condemned at least ten times after weapons, drugs, domestic violence, theft and fake.

Weems is expected to be released from prison in 2029.
