play

  • Florida Gator's football team organized their third spring practice on April 12th and worked on April 12th to the Orange & Blue game.
  • The team is looking for a new Punt returnee, with several players fighting for the position of the Chimere Dike.

Florida Football organized his third spring practice in Sanders Practice Field on Tuesday.

In total, the Florida Gators will hold 15 exercises and summit on April 12 at 1 p.m. in the swamp with the Orange & Blue game.

Florida has had its first winning season in 2020 and closes the 2024 season with four wins in a row to reach 8-5.

“We have the players in place,” said Florida's defense coordinator, Ron Roberts. “I'm going to be honest. Last Year, We Had the Players in Place. Could we have done Better? Yes, you know, and it didn't Hit Until, whatever, (Week) Five, (Week) Six, We Starting in that fashion of doing things. IF I WENT Back, I Think WE UNDER Achieved, You Know, But I Think We Got The Players in Place, and I Think Right Now, You're Already Seing Guys, You Know, Know What To Expect. “

UF will practice twice this week before taking a week free for the spring break from March 16 to 23.

Here are three snack bars from the open part of the practice:

Florida Rachets up the contact

Florida Football took the contact when the players during the training on Tuesday shoulder pads, but did not wear full pads. Stephon Shivers and Jeremiah McCloud, who went to the defensive of the first semican lines, in a rush block drill Mano-Y-Mano, while wide recipients and tight ends worked on blocks.

Freshman QB Tramell Jones JR, makes a nice litter, DJ Lagway, who still didn't threw for Florida Football

The Freshman Quarterback Tramell Jones had the best throw of the day and hit the walk-on recipient Jackson Wade in a deep pattern. Wade made a nice, falling catch to complete the piece.

Dallas Wilson, Vernell Brown Jr. and Naeshaun Montgomery continued to come in pass-catch drills.

For the third training session in a row, Quarterback DJ Lagway (shoulder, lower body) left the drills behind but not thrown. The wide receiver Kahleil Jackson (Torn ACL) stayed in a black jersey and took part in Agility Drills, but did not run any routes.

Get jobs for Florida Football to acquire

Joe Houston Joe Houston, Senior Special team from Florida Football Special, said that a number of players have shown interest in bringing paints back to Chimere Dike this season.

These are big shoes that have to be filled, as Dike, which recently ran a 4.34 in the 40-yard fittings board in the NFL combination, achieved an average of 13.36 yards per punt return last season.

“Chim (dike) was so great for us that a large part of our success in this unit was based on him, his decision -making, his skills. So we work a lot of people in this area,” said Houston. “Not only some of the younger boys, but also Tre Wilson, Tank Hawkins, Jadan Baugh, Ja'kobi Jackson, J. Michael Sturdivant, Aidan Mizell, Vernell Brown III, Duke Clark, Dallas Wilson, Naeshaun Montgomery, Debraun Hampton Hampton.

The 5-foot 11, 172-pfund-Brown, a true newcomer, returned four kicks (three paints and a kickoff) for TDS in his junior year.

“He has what I can't train, and that is speed, there are also many people who are. They are quick, right,” said Houston. “And as always, if you just try to get creative to get your best athlete in the open field, and in this position you are almost guaranteed to get it.”
