Curry Bags record 4,000. Three pointers as Warriors Rout Kings | National

Stephen Curry, star of Golden State Warriors, was the first NBA player to score 4,000 three-point pointers on Thursday and expanded his outstanding leadership as the greatest long-term shooter in basketball history in a blowout victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Curry went to the game on Thursday on Thursday and only needed two three to reach the unprecedented 4,000 mark, only days after reaching 25,000 career points last Saturday.

Curry, who turned 37 on Friday, took the time before he had completed the last steps of his journey towards a milestone that had been considered unthinkable before the four-time NBA champion.

The Warriors Ace triggered its first three pointer of the night at the end of the first quarter and found the bucket cool from 26 feet to switch to 3,999 career trees.

That was one of only three attempted triumphs from Curry in the first half when the Warriors took a lead of 61-51.

But then he had ovations roared in San Francisco's Chase Center audience in the third quarter when he finally reached the 4,000 mark and remained in a bucket of 27 feet with 8 min 19 to achieve it 72-63.

“It was a special moment to obviously do at home,” Curry told TNT Television after the Warriors' victory 130-104.

“It was a strange game – I didn't get a lot of attempts until the third. But the energy was something special,” added Curry, who was finished with only 11 points.

Warriors trainer Steve Kerr praised the Golden State Shooting Icon.

“The guy is incredible,” said Kerr. “He seems to break records or to stuck records every week, so we are used to it. But it is still something special.”

Curry's three-point transport is the recent performance in a career that ensures that he is one of the greatest players in NBA history.

Before Curry's origin was created in the league, no player had ever piled up 3,000 triple in her career.

But the star of the Warriors in its 16 seasons in the league led a dramatic development of the three -point evaluation record.

In 2005, Reggie Miller headed the three-point shooting record ever with 2,560 triple.

Ray Allen would surpass Miller's record in 2011 before he retired in 2014 with 2,973 three.

Curry put Allen's record in the shadow seven years later before reaching the 3,000 mark in December 2021.

Since Curry passed 3,000, it was a question when he would not reach 4,000.

It remains to be seen whether Curry can reach 5,000. His existing contract with Golden State runs until 2026-2027, but he said he hoped that he was hoping beyond the permissible form and fitness.

When asked about the persecution of 5,000 on Thursday, Curry said that he hadn't thought.

“I'm at the moment,” he said, “2974 felt like an eternity. But who knows? But now I will stay in the present.”
