The Montgomery police examined several shootings on Thursday evening, 1 fatal

Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) – The Montgomery police opened several investigations on Thursday evening, including a murder probe, after at least four people were shot in the capital in two hours.

The first shooting occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. in a motel in the 4400 block of the Troy Highway. This shootout left a man in life -threatening Condition.

A little more than an hour later at 8:41 p.m., officials and doctors reacted to the 600 block of the North Pass Road, directly on the Coliseum Boulevard and the Northern Boulevard, after reporting on another shootout. There the first aiders found a woman who had to be taken to a hospital. The investigators have confirmed that the injuries in this case are not life -threatening.

Forty minutes later, around 9:20 p.m., first aiders in the 3500 block of the Manley Drive were called for a double shooting. This is outside the Lower Wetumpka Road, also not far from the Nordboulevard. There the authorities found a man dead and another who was taken to a hospital with life -threatening injuries.

None of the victims have been identified. In one of the cases, no motifs or suspects are known from early Friday morning.

The police ask everyone who has information about the murder or one of the other shootouts to call crimestops under 215 stops, secret witnesses at 625-4000 or MPD under 625-2831.
