Weekend preview | Spring sports plan increases

Pitt Rampt for one of his more operating weekends in the spring plan. Spring sports are in full swing after both men and women's basketball have lost in their respective conference tournaments.

baseball

Pitt Baseball (10-5) opens his conference plan at Georgia Tech this weekend. The season started for the Rau team, without real statements and confusing losses against teams such as Bucknell, Monmouth and East Tennessee State last weekend. Panthers' pitching fought for the team all the season.

In her last victory, Pitt Youngstown State headed 17: 7.

Georgia Tech, on the other hand, offers a 14:3 record and a win in his first ACC series against Virginia Tech 2-1.

It is unlikely that Pitt will win the series, but a game from Georgia Tech is a way.

Softball

Pitt Softball will compete on Florida No. 10 this weekend and play a Doublehead on Saturday.

The team had a lackluster start because it has a record of 10 to 13 so far. The team has to struggle with the competition across the board and will probably do so against a top 10 opponent.

Pitt has played an ACC series so far and lost all three against North Carolina. Florida State comes into the series at 22-5. You will open the ACC game against Pitt and probably sweep you.

lacrosse

Pitt Lacrosse will have the toughest test of the season to this point on Saturday and Syrakus No. 8 will take.

Pitt Lacrosse had a pretty impressive season because winning against the competition Penn State and his second ACC victory will start 5: 3 against Cal. The team used to play the former No. 8 Stanford in the season and lost in a high scoring affair from 16 to 12.

Pitt Lacrosse will have a chance on Saturday at 11 a.m. in his first victory in the program history when you compete against Syracuse at home.

Pitt has achieved his third victory in a row, where they defeated Liberty 16-6. But Syracuse has a defeat against John's Hopkins No. 10, his fifth game in a row against a ranking opponent.

athletics

Pitt Track and Field takes part in the NCAA Indoor Championships in Virginia Beach, Virginia, this weekend. Pitt only sent one athlete to the tournament when Senior Je'nyia Burton Pitt will represent after winning the ACC championship in the 400 -meter women last weekend.

gymnastics

Pitt Gymnastics drives to Columbus, Ohio, for a meeting with four teams on Sunday. Pitt will compete with Kent State and West Virginia against host Ohio State.

Pitt has not won an ACC meeting this season, but was victorious in her last meeting against West Virginia, won 196,575-196.275 and scored his second best score in team history.

Men's football

Pitt Men's Soccer competes on Friday in a spring scroll game against West Virginia and marks the beginning of her spring plan.

After a disappointing appearance in last year's tournament and the departure of their seniors, the team will show their new transfers for the first time when it comes to a local enemy.
