I tried the Brighton Restaurant Fatto a Manos Viral Ananas pizza

There are things that don't.

Then there are things that really think people are important, but they really don't.

And personally I would assign the question of what small pieces of meals insert into this third category on his pizza.

Not everyone agrees because large color fields of the Internet are enrolled in combating the culinary cultural war of our time – does pineapple belong to pizza?

The fine pizzaioli in Fatto a Mano has clearly brought about it and a hand grenade in the conversation with her Bella Degrazia -Special – her “beautiful shame” – with (gasping) pineapple!

The original fatto a mano (Image: The Argus) They not only openly annoy millions of Italians, but also offer everyone who brings a pineapple in one of their restaurants a free Bella Hungrazia.

The doctorate has exploded online, with pineapple-bearing spuns appearing in their thousands and a mano of a diluvian flood of tropical fruits on Fatto.

When I didn't want to miss, I went to her original Preston Circus branch to use a pizza for action.

The Bella Degrazia is a white pizza, i.e. no tomato sauce, crowned with pancetta, spicy salami, mozzarella, nduja hot honey, freshly grated parmesan and of course pineapple.

The Bella Degrazia The Bella Degrazia (Image: The Argus) When someone whose identity is not tied up in the question of the pineapple on pizza, I was fascinated by the ingredients, excited to try it and immediately ordered it.

My herbivorous girlfriend, who ironically is a big pineapple pizza fan, did not have so happy because there is no vegetarian Bella -Disgrazia option.

Strangely enough, Fatto a Mano Ananas places another pizza, even though it was flooded with the stuff. Margherita with olives for you then.

The pizzas arrived at lightning speed in the classic Napoli style – thin base, large, pillow -shaped crust. I am already a fatto, a mano convert, although I would normally not choose a white pizza. However, this was pretty tasty.

The Margherita was also well received The Margherita was also well received (Image: The Argus) The pancetta was beautiful, just right cooked – not always the case with Pancetta – and the spicy salami was beautifully strapped in the oven. The dolemen of 'nduja hot honey, more or less a sweet chili sauce, were a good addition, and the chives brought a syringe of freshness.

But you didn't come here to read about chives. What about the pineapple?

So please …

It was great! Roasted with chilli, it was nice enough in itself, but worked beautifully with his fellow movements in my mouth.

The sweetness of the hot honey and pineapple were the perfect counterpart to the saltness of the meat and parmesan, while the Mozzarella did what Mozzarella does.

Nothing like a little glasses of wine to a pizza Nothing like a little glasses of wine to a pizza (Image: The Argus) I think when people drive against the concept, it is often the two acidity of pineapple and tomato that drives vitriol. Serving pineapple on a white pizza completely negates this problem, whereby the hot honey fills the sauce -shaped emptiness.

The whole thing felt very coherent and well thought out. And what else would you expect from Fatto a Mano?

I would highly recommend trying before the special area ends on March 30, especially if you can basically have one free of charge.

Well, if you can still find a pineapple for sale in Brighton.
