Man who was injured after a big party in downtown Lansing

Lansing, Michigan (Wilx) – The police in Lansing reacted to a shootout late Thursday evening, in which people ran from a big party in downtown Lansing. The Lansing police announced News 10 that the shootout on Thursday shortly before 11:30 p.m. in the 200 Block of the Washington Square near the intersection with Allegan St.

Shortly after the shootout, a man went to a regional hospital with gunshot wounds in the 20s. The police said he had been shot in his upper and lower body several times, but he should survive.

The police announced News on Friday morning that a person fled out of the scene on foot. No photo or name of the individual was made available, but it was also described as a Hispanic man in the 20s.

After the shootings, many people who took part in the big party ran from the scene and through the surrounding area of ​​downtown Lansing, according to the officials who reacted to the call.
