NASCAR Friday plan on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The Nascar XFinity and Truck series will open the action on Friday on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Trucks then practice and qualify over an almost two -hour session, which begins at 3:35 p.m. The Xfinity practice begins at 6:05 p.m., followed by the qualification at 7.10 p.m.

Josh Berry gave the Wood Brothers team the first top 5 finish in Phoenix last weekend.

The green flag falls at 9 p.m. ET at a truck race with 134 laps. Rajah Caruth is the defending champion and is the 11th driver who won a truck victory in Las Vegas after the first start (most of the tracks).
