Kitchen police officers find cooler leaks that drip on food

Huntsville, ala. (Waff) –

Dekalb County

The Tienda Tikal Restaurant and a grocery store received 88 and 83. A walk -in cooler had a leak, with liquid dripping directly on meat and sauce. There was also no hot water on a hands -sink, fish at the wrong temperature and blank chemical spray bottles.

Limestone County

The Greenbrier Fuel City in Swancott Road has an 80 this week, due to the lack of paper towels on a hands sink, an abundance and burgers at the wrong temperature.

Madison County

This week there were 109 inspections in Madison County and no results under 85 this week. However, there was an inspection by complaints from the public who received no numerical scales: the Cheddar's on University Drive had several violations of the food temperature. The most recent number of points for Cheddar's was a 95 in January 2025.

Marshall County

Nashs City Harbor in Guntersville has an 82 due to the dishwasher at the bar that does not have enough disinfectant. There was also no hot water in one of the men's rooms and a spray bottle with a streak, which were not properly labeled.

Pizza Eds on Gunter Avenue has an 82 on the score leaf thanks to an almost identical violations of those specified at Nashs. There was no disinfectant in a dishwasher, no hot water in a toilet and chemical bottles that were not labeled.

The bakery and the deli in the Sunset Drive Piggly Wiggly received an 83. It was too long for violations of several food temperatures, chicken and chicken salad and a problem with a mop sink.

Morgan County

The fraternal order of the River City in the Eagles Hall in 14th Street receives an 82 due to mold in an ice machine and the fruits at the wrong temperature.
