Memorial ceremony to honor Scotland students who were killed in shooting

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) family, friends, relatives and the Scotlandville Magnet High School Community come together to honor and celebrate the life of 17-year-old Anthony Robinson.

Robinson was shot after he got out of a school bus in Bradfield Avenue on Monday shortly before 3 p.m.

A commemoration will take place on Friday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m. It takes place in the gym in Scotlandville High.

“Anthony has touched the life of so many with its goodness, joy and unshakable spirit. When we gather to remember him, we invite you to share your stories, love and prayers in his honor, ”wrote his family.

“Let's come together to celebrate a well -lived life and never have forgotten a soul”, continues.

Detective believes that Robinson was shot by a 16-year-old. This teenager was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Health Center East Baton Rouge due to the first degree murder, first degree attempted murder and illegal use of weapons.
