Rep. Edwards speaks the amount of the exuberant town hall

Congressman Chuck Edwards organized a town hall on the Asheville campus of AB Tech on Thursday evening, although other Republican legislators recently canceled similar events across the country.

In the town hall, the energy and passion of the crowd were high and noticeable because they had the chance to speak to Rep. Edwards and ask him questions.

Despite the many negative reactions of a very exuberant amount, the congress member put it for a full 90 minutes.

He spoke early on about the reaction and recovery to Helene.

“President Trump asked me how recovery in North Carolina and I was very honest with him. I talked about things that Fema did well.

As part of the Task Force, Edwards said that he is now compiling a report by community leaders, residents and first aiders. This report will finally go on the way with recommendations to accelerate the recovery to the president's desk.

The crowd expressed disappointment about many of the topics, including the Federal Job Cutting. The spectators were often so loud that Edwards's answers had drowned.

The MEP Edwards also organized a press conference immediately after the event, in which the Wlos reporter Marc Livman asked him whether he wanted to keep events on Thursday or whether the negative reaction would dissuade him.

“It doesn't change my plans. I enjoyed getting out of people. This was a little more uncomfortable than some of the others, but that's okay. People should have the right to express their opinion.”

A person in the crowd was led out during the event, but there were no other important problems in the auditorium.
