4 families who were sold after structural fire in Jefferson County

Jefferson County, Colo. (KKTV) – According to West Metro Fire Rescue, four families were sold after a fire in Jefferson County on Thursday evening.

Firefighters said the fire was in an apartment complex in the 8,300 block of the South Independence Circle.

The first crews reported about smoke and flames outside the three -story building that switched from one unit to another and to the attic.

Two units and water damage to two other units were fire damage.

All residents could certainly evacuate and there were no injuries, said firefighters.

According to reports, the South Metro Fire Rescue helped the Redeemer of this fire.

The cause of this fire is examined.
