Investigation by Michigan Lottery fraud leads to two arrests

An investigation of a fraud with the Michigan lottery and credit cards in Bad Ax in January led to the arrest of two men from West Michigan.

According to a press release from the Bad Ax Police Department, civil servants carried out arrest warrants in Homes in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Township on Thursday with the help of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, the police in Kalamazoo, the police department of Battle Creek and the Michigan Department of Corrections.

The search commands resulted from an “extensive” examination of the use of credit cards and the Michigan lottery in Bad Ax on January 19.

The police arrested a 25-year-old man from Kalamazoo Township and a 25-year-old Battle Creek man, both because of the investigation for poor ax fraud and probation strand.

The names of the two men are held back to the indictment.
