Suspicious shootout of the Southern University Shorn Home Hera

Baton Rouge – The suspect at a shootout in a dormitory from Southern University was arrested almost two weeks after the shootout.

University officials announced the arrest of the Semaj -Tischler on Friday morning. He was arrested in Fort Worth, Texas, and is accused of wearing a firearm on school ownership, a second degree murder and an illegal use of a weapon.

Tischler and the victim allegedly communicated via the Sidechat app. The app is marketed to College students, “as a digital space to authentically talk about life on campus,” said CBS News in 2024.

After a dispute over money, Joiner is accused of pulling out a gun and firing a single shot that hit the victim in the stomach.

The police said Joiner then fled the scene before the officials arrived, the police said. This was the time when he was on surveillance material. An arrest warrant was issued for his arrest on March 5.
