Football completes the first week of spring training 2025

Spring game for Saturday, April 12th in the Cox Creek

Florence, ala. (March 14, 2025) – The football team of the University of North Alabama is half a point of spring training from 2025, as the Lions will complete their seventh training on Friday evening.

The Lions return 82 players from last season and welcome 12 transfers for spring training. Una lost only 27 letter men from last season, including 16, who completed the program.

This spring, the Lions also debut a newly looking coaching team under the head coach of the third year in the third year Brent Darronincluding six position trainers, a new director of football and the promotion of Morgan Cruce to offensive coordinator.

“In the half -time of Spring Ball, we were able to acclimatize a newly looking staff and at the same time build up the basis of the program,” said Dearmon. “There is competition in almost every position group, which will lead to an elite football level. We look forward to seeing high school trainers, recruits, alumni and families in the next few weeks.”

The Lions will practice six times before the spring game 2025, which takes place for the morning of Saturday, April 12th in the Cox Creek Spring Sports Complex. Further details of this game will be published at a later date.

On Saturday before the spring game, the UNA Football will organize an alumni cookout on the exercise field on April 5. All soccer -alumni are invited to participate. Further details are made available on social media.
