Kia's first electrical van discovered in Korea

After Kia had annoyed it forever, he finally took the sheets from the PV5 at his EV Day Event 2025 last month.

With its difficult -to -abuse futuristic design, the PV5 is an almost replica of the concept, which is shown on the CES last January. The medium -sized electroman will begin the new strategy of Kia's New Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV).

The PV5 will initially be available in passenger, freight and chassis taxi setups. With “unprecedented flexibility”, however, you can see further options shortly. Two of the first are the PV5 crew with additional freight safety options and a WAV version (wheelchair vehicle).

When the sale started in the second half of 2025, Kias Elektrischer van in Korea was first discovered without camouflage. A new video of Healertv Gives us a better idea of what awaits us when the PV5 will meet dealers later this year.

The PV5 retains its technical, almost forward -looking design. Two outer body colors were shown: white and a darker gray or black. As the reporter determines, it actually looks like an upgrade of the concept.

Kia did in the back so that it didn't look like a bus and gave it more rounded overall shape. You can see how it differs from most MPVs that you see today.

Like the Volkswagen ID.Buzz, KIAS PV5 looks more like a minibus. At 4,695 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,899 mm in size, Kia's passenger electric van is somewhat smaller than the European ID. Buzz model (4,712 mm long, 1,985 mm wide, 1,937 mm in size).

It will be available with 51.5 kWh and 71.2 kWh battery, good for up to 400 km (249 miles) WLTP range. The PV5 can also be charged quickly in about 30 minutes (10% to 80%). In comparison, the ID.Buzz offers a 84 kWh battery driven and now offers up to 293 miles WLTP range.

Kia will start sales in Korea and Europe later this year, followed by other global markets in 2026. Pre -orders will be opened shortly. So have a look for prices.
