Byu football coach if your “schedule” does not go as planned

On Tuesday, March 11th, Kalani Sitake spoke in front of a complete Marriott Center on the Provo, Utah, the campus of the Brigham Young University, at a campus prayer and marked the first time that a Sitting Head Football coach has spoken since the legendary Legendary Lavell Edwards 1976 1976.

When Edwards spoke at that time, he spoke to students about a schedule for life. On Tuesday, Sitake said what to do if this schedule does not go as much as a person hopes that it will work.

Sitake started sharing some of his own experiences as a student at BYU 30 years ago and said if he could go backwards and say something to his younger one himself: “It would be that God has a plan for her. It is important to recognize that there is a divine design for us. “

This realization for the Sitake came after he had experienced his own heartache and his challenges in life. When a little boy who grew up in Nuku'alofa, Tonga, and grew up in Laie, Hawaii, his parents separated and then divorced. He said that his life put in a “complete disorder”, which meant that they lived in several other countries, apart from his siblings and with various family members at any location.

As fourth graders, he and his siblings were once again united with his father and lived in Orem, Utah. Sitake said he still felt broken at that time and longed for the life he was before moving and divorcing his parents.

The BYU soccer team attended its primary school after his national championship season in 1984. Football was Sitake's break and he was looking forward to the players that he had cheered on every week of the season.

His favorite player took off him and spoke to him at the moment despite his shyness.

“Everything is fine,” said the player to him. “I love you and God loves you.”

Sitake said he had heard similar words many times.

“But this was the first time that I actually believed it,” he said.
