My dream -Hasselblad camera will soon receive a sequel, according to new leaks -here are 5 upgrades that I hope for

If I could have a camera, no property, the Hasselblad X2D 100C would probably be. However, I could soon add an 'II' nickname after I have the upcoming successor to my dream camera to delicious.

The people of photo rumors shared a contribution with a Hasselblad registration for the product 'HB722' of December 4, 2024, followed by a photo on which a top plate of a X2D -II camera appears to us what the upcoming product could be an X2D successor and that it would come soon.

The current model is a 100 megapixel camera with a medium-sized form with a breathtaking minimalist design and equipped user experience. I loved checking the camera at the start in 2022, but an upgrade could provide sensible improvements

Yes, the X2D 100C swims my boat, but that doesn't make it a perfect camera.

The next model, which apparently is referred to as X2D II, suggests an iterative update – I would expect a large upgrade instead to be referred to as X3D. However, these are pure speculation, and there are no troubled specifications.

I would be everything for a new Hasselblad camera, be it a modest or extensive upgrade. Here are the top 5 upgrades I hope for.

I have no symptoms with the image quality of the X2D 100C -the 100 megapixels are full of details and divine natural color. A higher -resolution sensor would make headlines next time, but I don't think it's necessary or likely.

I wouldn't change much of anything from design either; The handle offers whether shooting in vertical or horizontal format, in most lenses there is a nice balance, while the minimalist control layout and the menus enable you to access the settings that you use the most to remove the rest.

If image quality and form factor are as good as they are, what would I change? My desired upgrades are largely focused on focus and speed.

First and foremost, I would love a precise autofocus mode of subject detection, especially an autofocus of people with eye recognition. The X2D 100C has the best autofocus system from Hasselblad, but it is still years behind the best mirrorless cameras from Sony, Canon, Nikon and more.

Car focus precision is the key, especially in view of the huge 100 -MP files that further highlight the restrictions on poor user technology / camera. If you are armed with reliable eye recognition, photo shoots will be much more relaxed.

In addition to precise autofocus, I would also like to be much faster and reliable. Not that I would plan to use the X2D 100C for sports and wildlife photography, but faster focus for portraits would be appreciated.

While we are at the speed, the continuous burst shooting of the X2D 100C is limited to just 3.3 fps. In view of the huge file sizes, the rival GFX100 II from Fujifilm is more than twice as high as this speed. Here, too, I do not take a campaign with a medium -formatic camera, but I would like the option there for faster image rates, especially for portrait sessions.

A faster burst shoot could also do a usable high-resolution shot mode-the type that you get with smaller format cameras to quadruple the resolution. Imagine a 400 MP file from a Hasselblad!

Landscape photography is an obvious strength of a 100-megapixel middle format camera, for which better weather seal and an improved battery life in a future X2D II could be really useful-I was not excessively impressed on these two fronts from the X2D 100C.

The video recording is completely missing in the X2D 100C. Of course, I would not remember to use such a camera for video work, but if I think about how breathtaking Hasselblad's color science is for stills, the view of 8K videos with such a beautiful color is exciting.

In summary: a faster processor, precise and faster autofocus, a refined handling and video recording. These require a modest and completely feasible upgrade. More lenses are always welcome.
