Bryon Kirkland-Lundy signed with Lindsey Wilson College Football

Metcalfe County, Ky – On Friday, a Metcalfe County Hornet, who had excelled on the soccer field, signed his national substitute for intent to bring his talents to Lindsey Wilson College next season.

You may recognize the name Byron Kirkland Lundy as the senior who broke a KHSAA State record in autumn, and recorded 10 lavish touchdowns in the 70 to 44 victory of MetCalfe against Clinton County. The number marked the most lavish touchdowns in a single game in Kentucky.

Kirkland-Lundy spent two seasons with the Hornet football team and last year over 1,687 rushing yards for a total of 26 lavish touchdowns.

Kirkland Lundy, a member of both the basketball team and in the athletics team, has a strong influence the MetCalfe Athletics during his high school career.

“Man, it feels good,” said Kirkland-Lundy. “It feels really good. I worked very hard for this day and as I said, all Glory God and thank you. Many thanks to my teammates, because without them I wouldn't be here at all. “

“He is just one of these children you want from whom you have a team full of them,” said LJ Harbison, head coach of Metcalfe County. “He is something special and will go to places later and in the rest of his life. We look forward to him and congratulations to Byron. “
