Occupings remain near Mullen at the scene of a large grass fire

North Platte, alongside (Knop) – The crews remain at the scene of a large grass fire that lit on Friday south of the dark river in the County County.

The sheriff Todd Yost from Hooker County confirmed that strong winds and dry conditions strengthen the situation. The urgently needed precipitation came to the region on Friday evening and drastically supported the dangerous situation.

Fire brigades from the region reacted to the fire. In addition, the cattle breeders in the region also supported efforts.

Yost confirmed that there were no victims in the big grass fire and believes that no cattle or buildings were claimed.
