UW Madison among more than 50 universities that were examined by “racial development practices”

Madison, Wis. (WMTV) -The University of Wisconsin -Madison is one of over 45 universities that examines the US Ministry of Education for Civil Rights (OCR).

The educational department was investigated on Friday, a month after the submission of a memos in which the American educational institutions discriminated against white and Asian students.

UW Madison sees itself through her connections to a group called “The Ph.D. Project ”, a non -profit organization that helps students from underrepresented groups get conclusions in the business.

The educational department says that the group “limits the authorization based on the racing of the participants”, which leads to racial exclusion practices in graduate programs.

On Friday afternoon, officials from UW Madison said that they were “not yet officially informed about a complaint in connection with the doctoral project”, and if a complaint is received, the university will “work together”.
