No. 8 Women's Lacrosse treated Williams, 9-5

Williamstown, trade fair. -The Lacrosse team of the Wesleyan women in Wesley exceeded Williams 6-0 in the first half, which in the end was more than enough when the cardinals defeated the Ephs on Friday evening in a little three collapse of Farley-Lamb Field. Wesleyan (3-1, 1-1 Nescac) are winners of three episodes, while the Ephs (1-3, 0-2 Nescac) drop another conference game.

After an early green card to Williams' Anna Miller, just 23 seconds after the start, the cardinals came with one. Elle Priesing '26 Free position target on the player-up. Williams fought to get a river when the Ephs turned the ball in the game with each of their first seven possessions. Wesleyan managed to transform one of these Miscues into a goal Dylan Green '26 achieved the cardinals after a 2-0 lead.

The cardinals added four other unanswered goals in the second quarter and scored early goals from Addie cummings '26 and Lindsey Diomede '26 to make it a game with four goals. Mya Wharyas '27 then it made 5-0 a little more than four minutes later Kiara Tangney '25 scored 6-0 in her return to the cardinal line-up during her first game.

It is a short turnaround for the cardinals that travel to Florida on Saturday before they are directed against Endicott on Monday at 7 p.m. in Publix Park in Panama City Beach.
