Richmond said she enjoyed the project and that caused her to change her opinion in relation to her future plans.

“I enjoyed it, so I decided to go to the career center.” she said.

In the first semester of the program, she said that the classes covered photography and graphic design.

“In the second semester we came to video production, which I am more interested in” she said. “It was like YouTube videos.”

“I prefer the creation of videos” she said. “Most of the time it is only the editing part – I like to film, but I enjoy Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects to make the product.”

Richmond said she likes to see how the technology works.

“We get the raw function from the camera, we get the RAW audio and how all this can become a great production and a product.”

Next autumn she said she planned to go to Ohio University to continue her media studies.

“I will go there to study film and hope to work on a big film production at some point.” she said. “I've always been interested in working behind the scenes of filmmaking and how the functioning works.

“I would like to learn more industry standard things and concentrate less on short film things.”

During his time at OU, Richmond said that she would like to work with some music groups.

“I would like to join a community band or a smaller concert band because it has been my background for roughly seventh grade.” she said.

Richmond added that she could take part in some school music programs, but she is not considering the marching 110 band.

Richmond said her music background helped with her interest in video production.

“My understanding of music theory and music composition helped me to make sounds and music to meet the project where I work better than some of the others who may not have much musical background.” she said “This type of edge has helped and will probably help in the future.”

She added that she would like to be involved in a kind of non -profit service during her studies.

In the Washington County Career Center, she was involved in the students of the students in which problems of problems were solved.

“We are students who solve problems that we find in the community.” she said. “I really enjoy being part of it in the past two years, and I want to do more of it.”

Richmond said that the group allows members to meet more of their fellow students in the Career Center and in other high school in Washington County.
