What is the history of the PUB quiz?

It is believed that the PUB quiz comes from a company called Burns and Porter, which would share their tests in the 1970s to encourage more regular visitors.

In the regular pub quizs, the pub numbers of 30 teams rose to a highlight of 10,000 teams per week.

Burns and Porter published their own line of Pub quiz books and continued to organize weekly quiz.
