Oklahoma Wildfire map, tracker, evacuation -updates: fires in Norman, Stillwater, Velma, Edmond, Chickasha registered

In Oklahoma, several rapidly moving forest fires broke out, which led to evacuations and leads to widespread electricity and water failures. Fires were reported in Norman, Stillwater, Velma, Edmond and Shawnee. Stay up to date with the forest fire map.

1. According to Oklahoman, the Langston University was evacuated.

2. After the National Weather Service (NWS) there is a dangerous running fire near Norge and Chickasha in the immediate vicinity.

3. A fire was reported northeast of Oklahoma City near Chandler. The fire moves quickly to the northeast and the affected areas are Highway 18 north of Chandler, Parkland and Kendrick.

4. For areas south and east of Thunderbird and Norman in rural Cleveland County, an evacuation announcement was issued. The evacuation zone includes areas along and east of the 108th St. St. St. St. St., from Post Oak Road to State Highway 9, reported the Oklahoman. The crossspoint church in Norman has opened its doors to people who evacuate from fires.

5. A running fire was discovered west of Stillwater, southeast of Carl Blackwell. The fire moves to the northeast with the wind. A application for evacuation was granted for the areas between the 19th and the sixth streets and the range of Cottonwood. The retirement of primrose was evacuated.

6. A running fire was reported two miles southwest of Velma in Stephens County, east of Duncan.

7. A possible fire was reported east of Kelly and south of Simpson in North Edmond.

8. On the southwestern side of Shawnee, due to a fire near HWY 177, on the southwest side of Shawneee were ordered.

9. A forest fire was reported near Guthrie, which quickly moves northeast. According to the NWS, the fire will influence Southeast Guthria, areas along the I-35 and Langston.

10. Logan County Emergency Management officers have issued an application for evacuation for the Choctaw and Charter Oak and in the northeast. Shelter is open on the Oak Elementary School charter.

Logan County officials have asked all those who have lost their homes in the fires to contact them.

“We ask the residents to send an e -mail to Logan County's emergency management at Spierce@logancancoTyso.org. We call on the residents to only report whether their house in fires in Logan County was completely destroyed,” the official wrote.
